Currently in use by the UK MoD and other worldwide security agencies, the proven De-Armer disarms suspect devices by projecting steel slugs, chisels, forks etc into the fuses or pistols of conventional munitions or Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at high velocity. Product Capability: · Reducing recoil from a conventional 20-30m down to just 5m, the Dragon 900 De-Armer is ideal for areas where collateral damage is of particular concern · Manual Multi-shot device is capable of repeated firings · Optional anti-roll/tether device is available for environments where the De-Armer could be lost upon firing, such as river banks · Loading and unloading is achievable in under 30 seconds and can be carried out remotely from the target to further enhance operator safety · Requires minimal training and maintenance Product Specifications: · Constructed from precision-manufactured corrosion resistant materials developed in accordance with IS09001 quality approval system · Supplied as a complete kit housed in a robust, shock-resistant container · Standard length: 205mm, Diameter: 60mm, Weight 3.5kg · Recoil reduced length: 385mm, Diameter: 60mm, Weight 6.5kg · Available with conventional and recoil-reducing barrel · Flaw detected and proofed during manufacture
