    If space is not an issue then we suggest you step up to the Model 2; it is very well balanced and easy on the back if you are doing a lot of cutting. It also allows greater reach, and more cutting depth. Ideal for large departments.

    If you want the best of both worlds this saw, combined with the depth gauge, adds safety and allows you to control the cutting depth. It also gives the operator more reach and comfort while using the saw, and eliminates cutting the rafters out from under you.
