System comes complete with pumps, detector tubes and related comparison materials for analysis and determination of threat compound found. Civil Defense Kits can test for 21 gas and liquid chemical warfare agents in as fast as 2 minutes-using 50% fewer detector tubes and sampling 60% faster than a leading competitor. To minimize cost, the building-block design enables simultaneous testing of specific agents and accommodates up to 5 detector tubes. You use only what you need. All pre-calibrated detector tubes are ready to use and have passed chemical warfare testing at the U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground. Minimum detection limits are significantly below the U.S. Joint Services Operational Requirements (JSOR) to provide early warning and improve safety. Unlike PIDs, there is no risk of false positives from gasoline, diesel fuel, AFFF (Aqueous Fire Fighter's Foam), and burning tires or wood products. Sampling pumps may be reused after exposure to chemical warfare agents by simply decontaminating the pump exterior. A unique filter prevents contamination of the pump interior. Training/Certification Kits are available for realistic, safe, and inexpensive training.
