The Sentry is a fully automated detection system designed for fixed site installations such as office buildings, HVAC systems, subways and airports. The CW Sentry Plus™ employs a sophisticated, highly selective detection system designed to operate in complex environmental conditions. It uses a surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor array with a thermally modulated sample collector to detect CW agents and avoid false positives. To expand the system’s capabilities, an electrochemical sensor array is added to detect TICs. Analysis data can be reported via an RS232 or switch closures. This architecture facilitates networking of multiple instruments into large monitoring sensor nodes. The CW Sentry Plus™ is a low maintenance detector which is field supportable and inexpensive to operate. Created specifically to function in real world environments, the CW Sentry Plus™ has anticipated and met the requirements for effective 24/7 CW agent detection.
