H5N1Fever-Screen™ detects and quantifies the infrared energy that is continuously being emitted from the skin. When an individual enters the camera's view, his thermal image is displayed on an LCD screen, and areas of skin with elevated temperature are displayed in bright colors. Additionally, H5N1Fever-Screen™ can sound an alert tone to notify personnel.
