The P101 is used to disrupt at a short distance. The P102 can disrupt at a short distance, and when used with the venturi can disrupt at a distance of 3 meters (10ft). Both disrupters can also shoot steel slugs. The stand has height and angular adjustments for the disrupter barrels. Life Safety Systems' Predator PRMI can be used to place the disrupters at the proper position to disrupt the IED, and can then move to a safe distance while spilling off the firing line from the demolition reel mounted on the robot. The operator can then fire the disrupters from the control panel of the Predator PRMI.
