It combines high sensitivity with a wide dose rate range. IdentifFinder performs gamma spectrometry and nuclide Identification. IdentifFinder is a complete digital gamma spectroscopy and dose rate system. It integrates multi-channel analyzer, amplifier, high voltage power supply, and memory with an integral scintillation detector. IdentifFinder is suited for remote applications, advanced warning systems, hazardous environments and nuclear inventory monitoring. It can be used with standard detector 0 1" x 2" Nal(Ti), or the optional available BGO or CdWo detector as well as CdZnTe. The portable identiFINDER has similar features to the FH 40 G NBR Detection System with one notable addition - the identiFINDER can identify the exact isotope. The identiFINDER distinguishes between non-mode (ie; dirty bomb) and natural isotopes (ie; medical isotopes). Its complete gamma spectroscopy system provides the user with a real time isotope identification capability. Knowing the exact isotope enables more effective and efficient cleanup. Find, Quantify and Identify Radioactive Material The identiFINDER is the leading handheld radiation spectrometer / identifier, dose-ratemeter and nuclide finder. In use, the identiFINDER displays dose-rate to indicate the level of radioactive hazard. In finder mode it enables any user to find radioactive material with a clear display and intuitive audio. When the 'hot-spot' is found the identification mode will sample the gamma fingerprint of the source and identify the isotope. The identiFINDER will clearly display the nuclide and the type of source; medical, nuclear weapons, industrial, after nuclear event (OSI/CTBTO) or whether it appears in a user-defined library. The identiFINDER can identify more than one isotope simultaneously from a current library or 72 isotopes. User-defined libraries and isotopes can be added. Spectrum data collected in the field can be downloaded to a PC for further analysis.
