The bomb containment vessel is a simple, intrinsically vented steel box lined with the unique Tabre blast attenuation material. It has a three latch positive closing system with no concealed mechanism, allowing an immediate visual assessment that it is closed correctly. Should a device detonate inside the vessel, damage to personnel and property in the vicinity of the unit will be significantly reduced or eliminated.
