When the explosive breacher is ready for deployment, the operator uses one of our CO2 powered inflators and the system is ready for deployment within 30 seconds. The system is made of high quality nylon coated material that is manufactured in the shape of a tube that can be filled with air or water via the 2 one-way valves on the body of the device. The system is loaded by the user with the explosive element of your choice and secured via a hook and loop flaps located on each side of the inflated or water filled tube. An additional feature of this operational device are the hooks built into each end. These hooks allow an operator to wrap Det Cord or equivalent around them for precise measurement every time. This makes the devicve more reliable and easy to load on the go. Unlike anything that you would make from grooved 2x2 pine boards, the LINE-AIR has built into it's design hang tabs at each end for more durable deployment. Since the LINE-AIR breaching device does not have any metal or hard plastic, it is virtually free from fragmentation. This means that an operator could use one for explosive attachment and another one as a prop-stick to push against a door as the team approaches. NO MORE WOOD! Up to this point the process of making Linear explosive entry charges have been with some rigid material that can not be carried easily nor can it be constructed very fast. We have found that the normal linear construction methods where wood is used, have resulted in the following: · Can not put in backpack · Can not carry more than one · Can not make them on the fly · Can not ensure that each one is made uniformly when testifying in court
